All-Star Battle R ★ Enrico Pucci
Enrico Pucci (エンリコ・プッチ, Enriko Putchi) was confirmed for All-Star Battle R during the game's Parts 4, 6, 8 trailer.
In one of the most drastic character changes from the original All-Star Battle, Pucci has been separated into two playable characters, not unlike his playable iterations in Eyes of Heaven.
A version of Pucci with only Whitesnake as his Stand is part of the base roster.
The original version of Pucci from All-Star Battle, with all three Stands (C-MOON and Made in Heaven included) was released on December 1, 2022 in a free DLC update to coincide with the release of the final set of episodes for the Stone Ocean anime.
Replacing Pucci's previous voice actor of Sho Hayami now is Tomokazu Seki, who voices him in the anime. Seki also replaces Takuya Kirimoto as Whitesnake. Because of this, and like the majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Pucci have been re-recorded accordingly.
Pucci with only Whitesnake as his Stand (localized to "Father Pucchi") was confirmed alongside the rest of the Part 6 cast during the game's Parts 4, 6, and 8 Reveal Trailer.
Command List
This section requires expansion.
During battle, Pucci can use abilities featured during the course of Stone Ocean, exclusively from his time with Whitesnake as his Stand; Following the removal of the ability to evolve into C-MOON and related mechanics such as the Green Baby Gauge and 14 words, his set of abilities has been expanded to compensate, including a new GHA.
Pucci can summon or dismiss Whitesnake, altering his available abilities.
Pucci is able to steal his opponent's DISC via "It's mine!", his HHA, or "This is my Whitesnake's ability!", his GHA. Depending on the attack landed, various abilities of theirs are locked away in the form of a "DISC". The DISC will remain in Pucci's possession until his opponent hits him, causing it to drop in front of him. It can then be picked up by either combatant via standing over it and crouching; Pucci can retrieve the DISC to keep the opponent's abilities locked, or the opponent may retrieve it and restore their abilities. If the opponent has had multiple abilities locked via Pucci's different DISC-stealing attacks, all of them will be stored on a single DISC.
Having stuck a cross under his index finger's nail, Pucci stabs forward with it at slightly enhanced range, knocking the opponent off their feet. A command normal that can chain into Pucci's skills. (Comboable)
Whitesnake lashes out in a 5-hit punch combo, leaving the opponent crumpling. A command normal that can chain into Pucci's skills. (Comboable)
Whitesnake delivers a downwards chop moving forward. If it connects, the opponent is knocked to the ground in a ground bounce. This is a middle attack that cannot be blocked crouching. Depending on the attack button inputted, a follow-up chop may be performed.
- Light (): Whitesnake delivers only the initial chop, shortening the skill's recovery. (Comboable)
- Medium (): Whitesnake moves in and chops them a second time, bouncing them off the ground once more. (Flash Cancel comboable)
- Heavy (): Whitesnake moves in and chops them a second time, forcing them to recover normally. This version allows both chops to strike a downed opponent.
A new skill. A command Throw; Whitesnake flies forward while reaching its arm out. If it grabs the opponent, it forcibly inserts a DISC into their head that causes their entire body to rapidly heat up. The attack button inputted determines the range of the attack, inversely affecting Pucci's recovery speed afterwards if the attack fails. This skill's effect is altered based on whether or not Whitesnake is active:
- Stand OFF: The opponent is left crumpling to the ground. (Flash Cancel comboable)
- Stand ON: The opponent is launched upwards into the air. (Comboable)
Pucci spins around and flings a DISC straight forward as a projectile. The DISC's speed is determined by the attack button inputted. (Flash Cancel comboable)
A command Throw. Whitesnake swings its arm forward, and if it connects, will pick the opponent up and rip out a DISC while throwing them to the ground. The attack button inputted determines the range of the attack, inversely affecting Pucci's recovery speed afterwards if the attack fails.
The DISC taken by this skill seals the opponent's specials, skills, and abilities related to Style () (with the exception of Stand On/Off and Mount/Dismount).
A counter. Pucci poses with Whitesnake as he raises his arms in hallelujah. If struck by a non-Throw/HHA/GHA, Whitesnake reveals it has already put the opponent under an illusion via its Melt Your Heart ability, stunning them as the two fade away. The real Pucci and Whitesnake appear already behind the opponent as the opponent crumples to the ground, open to attack. (Comboable)
Each individual character has a unique animation for falling victim to this attack, similar to Giorno Giovanna's HHA.
Pucci lifts the opponent up by their face with one hand, before pulling them into a forceful knee-butt to the face and throwing them to the ground.
Pucci and Whitesnake fly forward a moderate distance in a melee tackle. If they connect with the opponent, Whitesnake rapidly swipes its hand across the opponent's face, causing their DISC to eject from their head. It will then quickly snatch the DISC and roundhouse-kick them away.
The DISC taken by this HHA seals the opponent's own HHA.
A counter. Pucci and Whitesnake raise their arms up high in hallelujah, in praise of his own euphoria. If he is then struck by any melee attack that is not a Throw, including HHA and even other GHA, his counterattack will trigger.
Pucci is seemingly blown away by the opponent's attack, before the entire screen suddenly begins to distort and fade away; In reality, the opponent was under the influence of Whitesnake's Melt Your Heart ability. When the screen clears, they are lying unconscious on the ground with Pucci standing over them, explaining that it was an illusion they struck. With his target utterly vulnerable, he brings forth Whitesnake to stab its hand with great force into their head, and brutishly rip out a DISC while throwing them away.
The DISC taken by this GHA seals the opponent's Heart Heat Gauge itself, leaving them unable to use any Heart Heat-consuming ability nor generate Heart Heat.
In addition, this is the second highest-damaging Great Heat Attack in the entire game, behind the GHA of Diavolo. It deals roughly ~47% of the average character's max health in damage at level 1, making it capable of KO'ing an opponent and bypassing Rumble or Resolve Mode from a little under half-health. Its damage can increase up to level 3, making it inflict a whopping ~71%; It can reduce most character's health down to Rumble/Resolve Mode from a full gauge.
