Chapter 304

Let's Go Out for Italian (2), originally Refined Antipasto in the WSJ release, is the three hundred fourth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the thirty-ninth chapter of Part IV: Diamond Is Unbreakable.

Summary

Tonio proceeded to serve his next course which was mozarella and tomato salad. Josuke begins to grow suspicious of Tonio as what happened to Okuyasu previously was strange, much to Tonio's displease. Tonio served the salad to Okuyasu and explains the history behind the use of tomatoes in Italian cooking as well as his pride in his Italian heritage. Okuyasu proceeded to eat the mozarella cheese in the salad and states it was quite plain. Tonio explains that the cheese has to be eaten with the tomato. As soon as Okuyasu ate the cheese and the tomato, he was shocked by its amazing taste.

Okuyasu took another slice of the dish and Josuke wanted to order the dish out of curiousness. Tonio mentioned that the dish will only 'help' the customer with the 'stiff shoulder'. As soon as Tonio stated that, Okuyasu mentioned that he was burning up and he was starting to sweat. He began to feel very itchy and stared scratching his shoulder. When he scratched it, a sticky substance started to come off of his skin which Tonio explains is dirt.

According to Tonio, the salad stimulated his thyroid gland which in turn, secreted chemicals that increased his metabolism. Due to the better metabolism in his shoulder, Okuyasu's unneeded skin cells are flaking off with the dirt. Tonio advised Okuyasu to continue removing the dirt. When Okuyasu finally removed all the dirt, he felt much lighter and mentions that his stiff shoulder was gone. Tonio was ready to serve the main course: spaghetti alla puttanesca.
