In the lobby, Jodio watches each of the people present there, trying to see who may be the enemy. A [[Lulu|young girl]] drops her figure in front of Jodio and he picks it up to give it back to her. However, he then sees that the girl has a nosebleed and guesses that she's probably the Stand user behind [[Bags Groove]], because one has been eliminated and Stand damage transfers to their user. [[Bobby Jean]] shoots at Jodio but Jodio summons [[November Rain]], which creates a screen of rain to deflect the bullets. Bobby keeps shooting at Jodio, who has to evade the bullets and run into a hallway to hide from Bobby. Ending up in a hallway only leading to the men and women's restrooms, Jodio tries to ambush Bobby Jean from behind by hiding in the men's restroom and attacks him. However, Bobby Jean has thought of it and he's already shot behind him, forcing Jodio on the defensive. November Rain reflects the bullets away and Jodio retreats into the men's restroom. Worse, Jodio begins to feel sick and suffers from pulmonary edema.<ref name="TJL19">{{Ch|TJL Chapter 19}}</ref>

As Jodio tries to hide and remain silent despite the pain in his chest from Bags Groove puncturing his lungs from the inside, Bobby Jean carefully tries to find Jodio and assesses November Rain's ability. He decides to shoot into all the stalls, which forces Jodio to deploy a barrier of rain to protect himself. The bullets don't reach him but they break the toilet seat, making Jodio fall. Having outed himself, Jodio can only maintain the rain as Bobby Jean kickes the door in. However, he tries to sneakily take something out of his pocket, but it is a trap set to make Bobby Jean approach. Tempted by his knowledge of the [[Lava Rock]] and its ability to attract wealth, Bobby Jean takes a step forward and wants to see what's in Jodio's pocket. But in doing so, he steps beneath one of November Rain's drops which has rebounded and stuck to the ceiling, and the drop falls through Bobby Jean's head, killing him. Lulu has witnessed this and is heartbroken. She recalls all her Bags Grooves, which saves Jodio and Usagi. Jodio almost crushes the Stands but refrains himself, instead telling Lulu to come with him without question after she's done crying for Bobby Jean. Later, Jodio and Dragona go to the ICU where [[Paco Laburantes|Paco]] is recovering from his wounds. The situation is worrisome because [[HOWLER Company]] knows about them, and the head [[Acca Howler]] seems to know about the [[Lava Rock]]. However, they also find [[~~Mack~~Yokohama]]'s document holder and find out he was about to collect Howler's debt. With all these documents in their possession, the gang is now able to claim all of Howler's asset. Confident in the power of the Lava Rock, Jodio tells Paco to take ~~Mack~~Yokohama with him, as he plots the debt collection.<ref name="TJL20">{{Ch|TJL Chapter 20}}</ref>

Later, Jodio, [[Dragona]] and [[Usagi]] visit Charming Man at the bank, the latter having been impersonating the banker ~~Mack~~Yokohama to hack into the bank's network and ensuring that as soon as Howler's assets are transferred to the bank, the assets will be transferred to the gang's bank account. Charming Man gives them a short tour of the office.

Later, the whole gang reports to [[Meryl Mei Qi]]. Meryl interrogates Lulu, who reveals that Acca Howler is aware of the existence of the [[Lava Rock]] and its power, but that he doesn't know any of them. Meryl decides that it is best for the gang to lay low and ensure nobody is being followed until the asset collection in seven days time.
