Mr. Costello is the father of Gloria and Ermes. He is a mexican immigrant who owned a small restaurant in the slums of Florida. When Gloria was 20, she inherited the restaurtant from him. Shortly after Gloria's death at the hands of Sports Maxx, he had also passed away.

The anime further expands on additional details about him. His wife and mother to his daughters had passed away when they were young. Later on, he had been present during Sports Maxx' trial alongside Ermes and was distraught at the small sentence Maxx received. His death is also explained, as after Gloria's death and the events afterwords, it all drove him to become ill.

Mrs. Costello is the wife of Mr. Costello and the mother of Gloria and Ermes. Little is known about her except that she had died when her daughters were at a young age. After her passing, Gloria took on the responsibility of being the "mother" of the family, even telling her sister to consider her as such.
