After exiting the airport, Koichi immediately runs into a mysterious youth inserting his whole ear into his head for money. This youth then proceeds to steal Koichi's luggage, however gets stopped by [[Echoes]] freeze. The youth then flees, and Koichi finds his luggage in a deformed spherical shape. Koichi realizes he found the man he was looking for. |

Gold Experience (1) is the four-hundred-fortieth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the first chapter of Part V: Vento Aureo.
Summary
In 2001, two years after the events of Part IV, Koichi Hirose arrives in a Naples airport on a mission from Jotaro to locate Haruno Shiobana and retrieve a skin sample.
