It is a colony of small Stands which can grab and displace anything. Each "operator" has the appearance of a small robot with a humanoid ~~top~~head and torso and tank treads instead of legs. Their heads have an oblong shape with curved corners, and the front part elongated like a nose. They also have two mechanical eyes protruding from the top of their heads. Their shoulders are cylinders and their arms have artificial articulations. For instance, they are able to pull the numbers from a car's license plate, exchange the photos from a driver's license card, and even displace the eyes from someone's face, pulling them down until they are placed on the cheek. Smooth Operators enables Dragona to move things across two-dimensional planes, regardless of that thing being a physical object or a physical feature on the object. The Stand has been used so far to move numbers around on a car license plate,<ref name="TJL1">{{Ch\|TJL Chapter 1}}</ref> photographs on a driver's license,<ref name="TJL1" /> a fingerprint on a tablet computer to its fingerprint scanner,<ref name="TJL16">{{Ch\|TJL Chapter 16}}</ref> and a human's facial features<ref name="TJL1" /> with no permanent damage to the objects or people affected. Dragona is initially shown being in physical contact with the objects affected by Smooth Operators, often with {{PN\|them}} directing Smooth Operators in a specific direction, but later chapters show Smooth Operators acting without {{PN\|their}} instruction. Dragona can also use Smooth Operators on {{PN\|themself}},<ref name="TJL4">{{Ch\|TJL Chapter 4}}</ref> allowing {{PN\|them}} to displace wounds inflicted upon {{PN\|them}} to other objects, causing the object to break.
