Interview with [[Yasufumi Soejima]], animator and animation director at [[David Production]]. Interview was published in the [[Animage]] November 2016 ~~issu~~issue, ~~actually published~~released on October 8, 2016.

In [[chase|OP2]], I suppose the beginning shot with the rotating arrows would thematically represent the characters "spinning a tale" through the flow of time. This is the basis I used when developing the visuals and it's why you see [[Joseph Joestar|Joseph]], [[Jotaro Kujo|Jotaro]], and [[Josuke Higashikata|Josuke]]—the JoJo from each generation—all together.

In [[Great Days|OP3]], the sun gadget represents Jonathan. I actually wanted to have Jonathan in OP2 as well, but since I was told I couldn't, I figured it'd be fine if I just made him a sun (laughs).
