In the year 202X, Koichi is now a young man in his twenties or early thirties. He pays a visit to his old friend [[B.T.]] in Las Vegas, where he works at the Dinosaur Hotel as a stage magician. After witnessing one of B.T.'s performances, Koichi and B.T. share a moment in the latter's hotel room. Koichi wonders that B.T. must be living his dream to perform magic tricks onstage in Las Vegas, but B.T. expresses boredom and confesses he's also been hired for another job.

Suddenly, one of B.T.the hotel's assistants[[Dinosaur Hotel Bunny Girl|bunny girls]] barges into the room, declaring that there is anothera "bizarre" person in the casino hall. They all go to athe surveillance room from which the security personnel can see all security footage in the building, and they focus on a mysterious gambler dressed like a western gunslinger playing at the roulette.

SaidThe gambler, [[Mike Harper]], waits for the dealer to release their ball into the roulette and confidently bets on the number 26. The ball indeed lands in the 26th slot, and he wins 36 times his bet. ThisMike has been happeningwon several35 times in a row already, and thus B.T. comes to meet the gambler at the table while Koichi remains in the surveillance room. The assistantbunny girl explains that B.T. has been hired to reclaim chips from gamblers having unusual winning gamblersstreaks in exchange for his magic show, but Koichi understands that B.T. actually enjoys playing these high -stakes games.

Koichi nervously observes as B.T. challenges the gamblerMike at one game of roulette with no limitlimits on the bet. B.T. first trieschecks outwhether the spinningroulette wheel to check whether it is unbalanced, and the gamblerMike guesses that all the balls B.T. has thrown will land on prime numbers. He guesses right, which shocks Koichi. However, when the real game starts, B.T. unnerves the gamblerMike by suddenly making a cigarette appear. The gamblerMike thus hastily bets everythingall in on a colorred, but the ball lands on the 00 slot, which is blank, and thus the gamblerhe loses everything. Enraged, the gamblerMike pulls out his revolverhandgun and tries to shoot B.T., but B.T. quickly flicks aroulette ballballs intoonto the gamblerMike's face and hand, neutralizing him.

Later, in the hotel room, Koichi admires that B.T.'s reward:was threerewarded suitcaseswith full30% of moneythe winnings. He asks B.T. how he pulled off his victory. B.T. reveals that the gamblerMike must have hacked into the hotel's security surveillance system and analyze all the footage with artificial intelligence in order to be able to predict the slot bythe how a dealerball would throw the ballland in the spinning wheel. This explains why the gamblerMike always waited after the throw to place his bet. However, B.T. lit a cigarette so that the smoke would lightly obscure the spinning wheel from the cameras, which would throw off the algorithm and ruin the plan. Thus, the gamblerMike tried to quickly find a solution and placed his bet on a color, either red or black. Furthermore, B.T. lured the gamblerMike into a false sense of superioritysecurity: his wheel check was done so that the gamblerMike would think B.T. couldn't decide where the balls he'd throw would land when the wheel was spinning, but B.T. was actually skilled enough to do so even with the spinning wheel, and he threw his ball so as to make the ball land in the 00 slot.

Koichi finds the plan crazy and asks what would have happened if any step of B.T.'s plan went awry, to which B.T. states that he would have lost everything, though he nostalgically says that it would have been like their simpler childhood. This conversation concluded, B.T. proposes that they play poker, but Koichi ispasses intimidated by B.T.'son gambling skill and asks that heB.T. shows him more magic tricks instead.
