Secco est un membre de l'{{Fr|Unità Speciale}}, et par extension de {{Fr|Passione}}. Il est en pratique l'esclave de {{Fr|Cioccolata}}, qui le traite comme un animal de compagnie. Il est aussi un manieur de {{Fr|Stand}} et son Stand {{Fr|Oasis}} lui permet de liquéfier ce qu'il touche. Il est déployé avec son maître alors que les héros essaient d'atteindre Rome.

Secco est un homme plutôt mystérieux. Il est plutôt svelte, mais quand même musclé, et a une taille moyenne, ou plus petite que la moyenne (environs {{cvt|170<ref name="MS">Golden Wind [[Model Sheet Archive|Model Sheet]] - [[Blu-Ray/DVDHome Video Releases|Blu-Rayray]] Volume 10 Documents</ref>|cm|ftin}} dans l'anime). Secco porte constamment son Stand {{Fr|Oasis}} sur lui, de la même manière que {{Fr|Ghiaccio}} et son {{Fr|White Album}}. On le voit alors vêtu d'une sorte de combinaison moulante couverte de sutures, qui lui couvre tout le corps sauf une partie du visage. Certaines parties d'Oasis exposent un peu le corps de Secco, étant rattachée avec des sortes de suture. On peut voir alors son visage et notamment ses dents mal alignées. Il a aussi un petit nez.

On ne sait rien de la vie de Secco avant qu'il ne rencontre {{Fr|Cioccolata}}. On sait qu'il fut l'un des patients de Cioccolata. Cependant, les deux s'entendirent bien ; il fut épargné et devint l'assistant et le chien d'attaque de Cioccolata. Il filmait notamment les victimes pour Cioccolata. Ils rejoignèrent éventuellement les rangs de {{Fr|Passione}} et devinrent des manieurs de {{Fr|Stand}}.

The pair positions themselves in a coastal village to intercept [[Team Bucciarati]] and [[Cioccolata]] spreads [[Green Day]]'s mold in the village, decimating its population. When Team Bucciarati arrives, they fall victim to the mold but quickly work out how it works and escape its initial trigger. Perched above their prey, Cioccolata is surprised by their resourcefulness and asks if Secco has filmed everything. Secco shows the footage of Narancia's desperate face, greatly pleasing his master, who pets him for a good ten seconds. Secco asks for four sugar cubes and Cioccolata obliges. When Cioccolata mistakenly throws a sugar cube out of reach, Secco expertly spits a cube to redirect both near him and catches them. This earns him another praise from his master. Their play time done, Cioccolata sics Secco at Team Bucciarati.

Les deux se positionnent alors en embuscade dans un village côtier où ils prévoient que la [[Team Buccellati]] va arriver, dans un endroit en hauteur. Au moment où ils arrivent, {{Fr|Cioccolata}} invoque {{Fr|Green Day}} et répand alors sa moisissure, décimant le village. Lorsque les héros débarquent, ils remarquent le massacre et {{Fr|Narancia}} devient victime de la moisissure en essayant de sauter dans leur bateau. Secco filme alors sont air désespéré alors que la moisissure le consume. Cependant, {{Fr|Mista}} le sauve. Cioccolata note l'intelligence de ses ennemis et demande à Secco s'il a bien filmé la panique de Narancia. Secco lui montre la vidéo ; aux joies, Cioccolata lui donne trois sucres. Secco en rattrape deux avec la bouche, mais Cioccolata rate le lancer du troisième sucre. Qu'à cela ne tienne, Secco recrache un sucre pour le propulser verticalement, lui donnant le temps de tout rattraper. Cioccolata le félicite pour son tour, et l'envoie alors à l'attaque.
Approaching [[Mista]] and [[Bucciarati]] from underground, Secco makes the staircase they ascend sink into the ground to trigger the growth of the mold. He also makes the staircase soften and sinks in Bucciarati. When he attempts to grab him, Mista shoots at a signpost and breaks the pole, allowing the duo to cling to it as the staircase disappears. Secco goes under the streets and continues his pursuits. Secco catches up to Mista, who uses this moment to shoot him. However, Secco spits rocks to deflect the first bullets at Mista and dives before the bullets ridden by [[Sex Pistols]] can touch him. Having wounded Mista, Secco now focuses on Bucciarati. Secco follows Bucciarati's trace but suddenly exits the concrete, having been led out of the concrete by Bucciarati as the capo has run towards the beach and jumped down. Sticky Fingers pummels Secco. Taken by surprise, Secco crushes the concrete and obliges Bucciarati to counter the debris while he retreats undeground. Shocked that Bucciarati wasn't infected by the mold, Secco immediately calls Cioccolata to confirm if Green Day works on an already dead thing and explains that Bucciarati felt like a moving corpse, confusing Cioccolata. For their part, Team Bucciarati have already driven far away to Rome.

Alors que {{Fr|Buccellati}} et {{Fr|Mista}} se dirigent à l'intérieur de la terre pour trouver une voiture, portant la tortue avec le reste de l'équipe dedans. Il arrivent à un escalier et commencent à monter pour rejoindre un parking, mais Secco arrive par dessous et fait couler l'escalier en rendant le sol mou. De plus, la perte d'altitude menace de déclencher la croissance de la moisissure chez eux. Les héros réalisent qu'un ennemi nageant sous terre est en train de les attaquer. Mista tord un poteau et ils peuvent alors s'y accrocher alors que l'escalier coule, et ils voient Secco rejoindre le côté sous les rues. Buccellati et Mista courent vers une voiture, poursuivi par Secco. Secco rattrape Mista qui lui tire dessus, mais Secco crache des cailloux pour dévier les balles vers Mista. Secco plonge quand {{Fr|Sex Pistols}} essaient de piloter des balles sur lui. Mista étant blessé, Secco se concentre alors sur Buccellati, qui se décide à aller vers la côte et saute du muret séparant la ville et la plage. Secco est pris par surpris car il sort du sol sans l'avoir prévu, et Buccellati peut utiliser {{Fr|Sticky Fingers}} pour lui donner une volée de coups de poings. Abasourdi, Secco cogne le béton pour forcer Buccellati à bloquer les débris et bat en retraite dans le sol. Confus parce que Buccellati n'était pas infecté par la moisissure alors qu'il avait sauté vers le bas, il appelle Cioccolata. Il demande si Green Day marche sur des choses mortes et explique que Buccellati était froid comme un cadavre, ce qui étonne Cioccolata. Pour leur part, les membre de la Team Buccellati ont réussi à voler une voiture et sont déjà loin, se dirigeant vers Rome.

Secco and [[Cioccolata]] board an helicopter, kill its pilot and eventually catch up to [[Team Bucciarati]]'s car in Rome. They throw the pilot's mold-ridden corpse, causing a crash. Cioccolata then keeps spreading the mold. When Mista shoots the helicopter, Secco comes out of the vessel to punch the bullets away and dives into the streets. He focuses his attention on [[Bucciarati]]. Still angry for having been tricked back at the coastal village, Secco threatens and insults Bucciarati, who has to correct him on the exact terms of the insult. Secco suddenly remembers he has to prop up his camera, prompting Bucciarati to attack with Sticky Fingers; however, Secco outpaces Sticky Fingers and kicks Bucciarati in the chin. Realizing that Secco is faster and stronger than even Sticky Fingers, Bucciarati cuts up a large piece of the concrete and escapes to the streets below before he's overwhelmed. As the mold has no effect on Bucciarati, Secco decides to simply beat him into a pulp with the power of Oasis.

Secco pursues Bucciarati further into Rome. While hiding underground, Secco receives a message on his phone; [[Cioccolata]] first reports that he will soon take care of the two enemies coming for him, promises more treats to his pet and declares that he will surpass the [[Boss]] shortly. Greatly motivated by this news, Secco reemerges to confront Bucciarati, already exhausted from the battle. As Secco emerges from the ground, ready to ambush Bucciarati, both Stand Users notice that the effect of the mold has dissipated. Anxious, Secco opens his second voicemail and learns that Cioccolata has encountered unexpected trouble. Whispering on the phone after taking a bullet to the head, Cioccolata informs his pet that he's learned from Sex Pistols that the group is meeting someone at the Colosseum. Just in case he dies, Cioccolata finally commands Secco to head to the monument and obtain the secret Team Bucciarati is after. Secco realizes that Cioccolata has died... and proceeds to sneer at his former master. He destroys his phone and camera, calling Cioccolata weak and revealing that he only followed him because he gave him money and treats. However, Secco is more than happy to take for himself what Bucciarati is after.

Les héros se séparent pour gérer le duo de manieurs de Stands fous, et c'est [[Buccellati]] qui se retrouve à combattre Secco au sol. Secco menace et s'énerve contre Buccellati, qui doit compléter ses phrases. Secco se souvient alors qu'il doit filmer leur combat et fait mine de prendre sa caméra dans sa poche. Lorsque Buccellati profite de cette ouverture pour attaquer, Secco lui assène un violent coup de pied au menton. Alors que Secco enchaîne avec une violente volée de coups qui le submergent, Buccellati réalise que Secco est en fait plus fort et plus rapide que lui au corps-à-corps. Buccellati s'échappe en ouvrant le sol avec ses fermetures éclairs et tombe dans une rue en contrebas. Secco est étonné que la moisissure n'affecte pas sa cible, mais déclare qu'il n'aura qu'à le réduire en bouillie avec son pouvoir.

Secco poursuit Buccellati plus loin dans les rues de Rome. Alors qu'il est sous terre, il reçoit un message de {{Fr|Cioccolata}}, qui dit qu'il devrait bientôt s'être débarrassé de {{Fr|Mista}} et {{Fr|Giorno}}, qui sont venus à lui. Secco est heureux quand il promet à Secco de lui donner cinq sucres après et quand il déclare qu'il surpasseront même le {{Fr|Boss}}. Très motivé, Secco réemerge du sol pour attaquer Buccellati, qui lui commence à être à bout. Alors qu'il sol du sol, Secco remarque alors que les civils de Romes ne sont plus affecté par la moisissure. Inquiet, Secco reprend son téléphone et voit qu'il a un second message en attente. Il apprend alors que Cioccolata est dans une mauvaise passe car il a reçu une balle dans la tête ; le docteur lui conseille alors de filer au [[Colisée]] voir le contact de Buccellati et de prendre l'objet secret que les héros veulent obtenir. Secco réalise que Cioccolata doit être mort... mais se moque alors de son ancien maître, le traitant de faible et révélant qu'il ne le suivait que parce qu'il croyait qu'il était fort. Détruisant sa caméra et son téléphone, Secco ne rend alors de comptes qu'à lui même et projette de prendre ce que veux Buccellati.
Realising that Secco is headed for the [[Colosseum]] now, [[Bucciarati]] throws a zipped post into a stela near Secco, threatening to close it on him like a jawed trap. Secco nonchalantly kicks the stela and turns Bucciarati's trap against him; Bucciarati is almost decapitated but [[Sticky Fingers]] then breaks it to cancel the trap. Secco suddenly leaps forward to chop off Bucciarati's legs, but the latter uses the pole to get out of the muddy ground then tries to kick him. Secco avoids the blow only for Bucciarati to cut his pole in two to impale Secco with it. Nonetheless, Secco swiftly deflects the pole and kicks Bucciarati into a building, breaking the window of a cafe. As Secco approaches Bucciarati, both [[Stand]] Users see a faint glint coming from the Colosseum, confirming that someone is hiding in there. It is the mysterious ally, a wheelchair-bound man with binoculars who quickly retreats to the shadows. Happy to see his goal in front of him, Secco rushes to finish off Bucciarati once and for all, but then Bucciarati hides behind a large shard of smoked glass and disappears just in time to avoid Secco's punch.

Secco sees the zipper on the ground and understands that Bucciarati is going to the Colosseum from under the ground. Secco gets angry over Bucciarati copying his fighting style and then wastes precious seconds thinking that Bucciarati must resurface to inhale fresh air, only to realize that as a corpse, Bucciarati doesn't need to breathe either. Zipping the soil apart, Bucciarati has already gotten a comfortable advance on Secco, but the latter then dives in the ground, hell-bent on showing his mastery of underground battle. Secco liquefies the soil to better hear the noise Bucciarati is making while he swims faster than Bucciarati can actually move. Secco detects a sound source which is revealed to be a broken water pipe when he attacks it. However, Secco knows that Bucciarati is probably standing still near him and devises a cruel plan to root him out. Munching the stone to liquefy it, Secco then spits it with high force in the air so that the now hardened stone forms a rain of spikes that actually hit Bucciarati. The team leader's corpse is pierced in several spots and he realizes that he is trapped. Meanwhile, the man in the [[Colosseum]] is revealed to be none other than Jean Pierre Polnareff, who obtained his Arrow fourteen years ago, during his departure from Egypt after Jotaro Kujo's battle with DIO. Polnareff realizes that if Bucciarati doesn't arrive shortly, then he must destroy the Arrow; knowing about Team Bucciarati's history, Polnareff hopes for Bucciarati's victory and for the time being vows to protect the Arrow at all costs.

Ce dernier est presque décapité mais {{Fr|Sticky Fingers}} casse le poteau pour annuler le piège. Secco bondit sur Buccellati pour la trancher la jambe, mais ce dernier utilise le poteau pour sortir du sol boueux et attaque avec un coup de pied. Secco évite cette frappe, et Buccellati sectionne un bout de poteau pour essayer de poignarder Secco avec, attaquant en même temps avec Sticky Fingers. Malheureusement, Secco est assez rapide pour dévier le poteau et envoie Buccellati voler avec un violent coup de pied. Buccellati atterit sur la vitre d'un café. Secco s'approche pour en finir, mais ils sont distraits un moment en voyant un reflet venant du Colisée, qui confirme que {{Fr|Jean Pierre Polnareff|quelqu'un}} les attend bien à l'intérieur. Ils perçoivent un homme en chaise roulante et avec des jumelles qui se cache dans les ténèbres du monument. Joyeux de savoir que son but est proche, Secco bondit alors pour en finir rapidement avec Buccellati. Mais, celui-ci se cache derrière un large bout de verre fumé et disparaît alors que Secco assène un coup de poing.
 
Secco voit une fermeture à glissière au sol et comprend alors que Buccellati s'est enfuit dans le sous-sol pour aller au Colisée. En colère parce que selon lui Buccellati a volé sa technique, Secco perd quelques secondes à attendre que Buccellati resurface pour respirer mais réalise que Buccellati est un cadavre ambulant qui n'a pas besoin d'oxygène. En dessous, Buccellati a pris une bonne avance sur Secco, ouvrant la terre devant lui avec le pouvoir de Sticky Fingers. Secco plonge alors au sol, déterminé à rattraper Buccellati et à montrer qu'il est le maître du combat souterrain. Secco liquéfie le sol autour de lui pour mieux entendre les bruits que font Buccellati, et de plus il nage tellement vite qu'il rattrapera certainement Buccellati. Secco détecte un son et vérifie la source, mais voit que ce ne sont que des tuyaux d'eau brisé. Secco est cependant satisfait car ces petits tours prouvent que Buccellati ne peut en fait rien faire contre lui. De plus, Secco devine que Buccellati doit être proche, immobile pour ne pas attirer l'attention. Secco mâche alors de la pierre liquéfiée et la recrache en l'air. En retombant, la pierre se solidifie et crée une pluie piques bombardant la zone devant Secco. Buccellati est touché en plusieurs endroits. En même temps, on révèle que l'homme dans le {{Fr|Colosseum|Colisée}} n'est autre que {{Fr|Jean Pierre Polnareff}}. Celui-ci protège alors une [[Flèche]] qu'il a obtenu il y a quatorze ans en Egypte, après la mort de {{Fr|DIO}}. Polnareff se prépare à détruire la Flèche au cas où ses ennemis arriveraient avant lui. Il connait les membres de la [[Team Buccellati]] et espère qu'ils sorteront. Pour l'instant, Polnareff jure de protéger sa Flèche à tout prix.

Meanwhile, Bucciarati is still harrassed by Secco's spikes. Feeling some approaching his head, he has no choice but to make Sticky Fingers deflect them, causing the sound Secco was waiting for. Bucciarati tries to escape but hears Secco approaching. Detecting several sources, Secco realizes that Bucciarati has cut a lamp post to slow him down but is supremely confident that Bucciarati is cornered. In fact, Bucciarati notices that his own body is beginning to turn into mush because of his proximity to Secco, and his finger snaps as he tries to put his hand on his face. Alerted by the sound, Secco then throws a powerful punch, causing a shockwave that sinks a section of the Colosseum and a car into the ground. Secco is now up close and tries to punch Bucciarati, who then punches the car's tire, making it burst. The noise created by the explosion of the tire reaches Bucciarati and Secco, but while Bucciarati doesn't mind to have his eardrums destroyed since he's a corpse, Secco loses his essential hearing.

Pendant ce temps, Buccellati est toujours attaqué par les pics de Secco. Il sent que certains pics menacent de lui percer la tête, il n'a d'autre choix que d'utiliser {{Fr|Sticky Fingers}} pour les dévier, ce qui est ce que Secco voulait entendre. Buccellati fuit mais entend Secco s'approcher. Dans sa poursuite, Secco entend plusieurs bruits et réalise qu'il a sectionné un lampadaire pour cacher sa position avec le bruit des débris tombant au sol, mais Secco sait que Buccellati est très proche. Le pouvoir de liquéfaction de Secco commence alors à affecter le corps de Buccellati et son corps commence à se réduire en bouillie. En bougeant sa main, il casse son doigt et le bruit suffit pour que Secco le détecte. Secco envoie alors un violent coup de poing créant une onde de choc liquéfiant le sol et détruisant une section du Colisée, avec une voiture qui coule dans le sol. Secco est alors tout proche de Buccellati et essaie de lui asséner un coup de poing. Cependant, Buccellati avait tout prévu. Il attaque alors la voiture et éclate un pneu avec le poing de Sticky Fingers. L'explosion est telle que l'onde de choc détruit les tympans de Secco, qui perd son sens le plus précieux. Buccellati lui se fiche d'avoir les tympans détruits.
Completely disoriented, Secco attempts a blind kick but resurfaces his leg which gets crushed by a passing car. Bucciarati also resurfaces to knock out a panicking Secco but the Passione operative then takes a random boy hostage, which is shown to be [[Doppio]].
