North Karelia (北カレリア, Kita Kareria) is the Stand of Väinö Peltola, featured in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fanfiction, Eagle Taking The Book. It is a humanoid Stand with the ability to summon Yellow Volkswagen Beetles aimed automatically for the Finnish region North Karelia.
Appearance
North Karelia is a humanoid Stand of average build adorned with car engine parts.[1] The Stand has round headlight-like eyes under tiny slots which gives the Stand an exhausted scowl. It has a pair of goggles over a combat helmet. It has car engine parts to the sides of its face. The Stand has a vertical line splitting its head in two along with multiple vertical lines in its face as its mouth.
The Stand has a large upper build, with 4 spikes over each of its shoulders and 4 blocks over its chest. The Stand's waist is very thin, with bandaged arms and round shoulder pads.
Abilities
Although North Karelia's ability is rather simple, the Stand is notably physically strong. North Karelia is able to push Väinö away using its fists,[1] along with being able to help Väinö jump into the air by kicking.[2] Though, North Karelia's humanoid form can only interact with the Stand cars.[1]
Car Summoning
North Karelia's ability is to summon Yellow Volkswagen Beetles which will automatically drive forward in the direction of the Finnish region North Karelia.[1] If the car hits an obstacle, it will explode. The car can, at maximum, go at 200KM/H. The cars can be stopped in the air by setting the speed at 0MP/H.[3]
The cars can only move in a straight line towards North Karelia.[4] If the user is inside borders of North Karelia, the cars can be summoned but cannot go faster than 0 KMP/H.[5] The cars's sizes are adjustable.[citation needed]
The cars can be driven if there is a driver inside the car to steer it.[6] Though it is physically exhaustive to steer the steering wheel.[4] Since the Stand's cars cannot move vertically, the driver has to be very careful and focused while driving.[4]
Väinö's Stand cars all have a car phone inside of them.[6]
Radar
North Karelia's Stand generated cars have radars inside them.[4] If Väinö has seen an individual, they appear on his radar.[7]
