The Stands of the franchise are well known in the fandom for taking visual inspiration from a wide variety of sources. However those introduced in the eighth Part, JoJolion, seem to be largely based on toys and games specifically. It is possible this may have been an intended theme, since early on in the Part we see the distinction between two types of people based on their preference between toy robots and teddy bears, which appears a few more times (Jobin and Yoshikage have a collection of toy robots, while baby Kei has a giant stuffed bear and Toru wears them on his shoulders.)
