History

The JOJOLands

The two officers pull over a pickup truck with loud music playing, questioning the teens inside. The driver, Dragona, is puzzled by the stop, but one officer cites unsteady driving and requests their license and registration. The passenger, Jodio, jokes they might have swerved due to excitement from a Dua Lipa song, eliciting laughter from the teens and disapproval from the cop. Upon questioning, the driver identifies Jodio as their 15-year-old brother, and themselves as 18. When accused of vehicle theft, the driver insists the truck belongs to their parents, and protests how close the cop's face is due to COVID-19 concerns. The cop twists Dragona's words into being a racial issue, suggesting Dragona doesn't want him close because of the color of his skin being white.

Annoyed, the cop forces the driver out of the truck and performs a pat-down, accusing them of having drugs. He starts harassing the driver and puts his hand into their underwear, claiming that women have more hiding places than men. However, as he feels something else there, he realizes that the driver is not simply a woman. After the cop states that he's even more aroused now, Jodio exits from the car and walks toward the officer. As the other officer attempts to intervene, Jodio ignores his warning and fiercely warns the first officer to back off, threatening his life if he doesn't release his older brother. Both officers draw their weapons on Jodio, while his brother protests, reminding them that Jodio is a minor. Jodio's Stand powerfully pins the second officer to the ground with targeted raindrops. Just as the first officer is about to shoot, Dragona uses Smooth Operators to disrupt the officer's vision, sliding his eyes behind his head and spoiling his aim. Jodio then turns the punishing rain onto this officer too, repeatedly stomping on him until Dragona steps in to de-escalate, preventing a lethal outcome. Jodio then takes measures to eliminate any proof of the encounter, incinerating the officers' body cameras and dashboard camera, along with their car, to remove any chance of them being pursued.[1]

A couple of days later, the police officers work with the Drug Enforcement Administration to try catching the boss of the drug gofers. An undercover DEA agent tricks Jodio. As soon as they receive evidence of Jodio selling drugs, the two police officers and several others storm out of an ice cream truck to pin down Jodio and Paco Laburantes. The cop pinning down Jodio asks if Jodio remembers him from before, taunting him by asking how his cute big brother is doing, claiming he's been dreaming of Dragona every night. He threatens to take both brothers to a dark room and molest them. Although Jodio wants to kill them, he figures he'll let them go and simply gets rid of their evidence by using November Rain. The rain makes all the drugs spill out, but doesn't harm the police officers aside from soaking them and slightly crushing holes in their shoes. They all run away in fear from the rain.[2]
