Jonas Joestar (ジョナス・ジョースター, Jonasu Jōsutā) is the main protagonist of Henry's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Fan Fiction, Absolutely Free. He is a half-clone of Haruno Higashikata.
As a pickpocket with a lack of morality, he decides to travel to America in pursuit 3 missing trucks carrying $396,000,000 lost in a mass drug deal, getting himself entangled into conflict with a gang full of stand users.
Jonas is a Stand user, wielding the abilities of the fishing line-based Stand, Disraeli Gears.
Appearance
Personality
Jonas is a very violent, volatile, detached and questionable figure. He is driven by Dark Determination to prove the merit of his own existence.
Jonas is generally very cold and reserved. Though, he will occasionally strike up conversations with strangers randomly. He can be aggressive in times or pressure or stress, but can mostly keep his stress under his calm and collected front. He can be incredibly violent in a fight, setting people on fire, beating them to death or stuffing their body in a car wheel and crushing it, though this is normally in life threatening scenarios.
Jonas has 3 rules for arguing and will use his Stand to restrain and shut people's mouth if they break his rules. These are arguing in good faith, being open-minded and also being respectful. If someone breaks his rules, he will sew their mouth shut using his stand and restrain them, leaving them uninjured but defenseless, restrained and unable to speak until he leaves. Jonas is a highly observant and intelligent person, being able to calculate and estimate information wihout much help. This goes so far he's able to deduce the nature of The Saint's Corpse after it spoke two words.
Jonas has an Inferiority complex, the origins of which being rooted in his identity. This drives him to try and overcompensate for his insecurity regarding the worth of his own existence. Jonas acts incredibly pridefully due to this, making him incredibly stubborn and difficult to work with. His need to prove himself is so great he is willing to use his own ability to knock out and restrain his own allies to make his fights "fair". His need to validate himself and his incredibly flimsy and unstable ego causes him to occasionally knowingly give his enemy an advantage just so Jonas can prove how much better he is than his opponent. He learns to use his ambition to prove himself as a weapon to drag himself further across his journey, with him learning and becoming stronger through his obsessive pride. Jonas learns to overcome this fatal flaw, as his fight with Alvin Lee teaches him to accept his own ability to lose but still giving it his all. At the end of the part, he has accepted himself for who he is and feels satisfied with himself.
In times of serious danger, Jonas can be so quiet and calm that people don't even notice him. He is very simple-minded when like this, going by his instincts rather than reason. Though, he can still create very complex strategies.
Jonas has a sense of honour and justice, having a "heart beyond layers of questions and aggression."[1] This strengthens throughout the part, with him becoming less violent and more moral across his journey.
Abilities
Stand
Disraeli Gears is a close-range stand, being mildly stronger than the average person. What makes the stand truly a force to be reckoned with is Jonas's ability to attract objects using fishing lines.
Personal Skills
Intelligence
Jonas is a cunning individual, consistently outsmarting his opponents and planning genius counterattacks. He uses his opponent's abilities against them, such as creating fire using the high friction of the ground caused by Booker T. He easily comes up with plans and figures out his opponent's abilities very swiftly. He is able to deduce the nature of the Saint's Corpse as the mummified body of Jesus after the corpse spoke two sentences.
He's good at math and very crafty. He's a highly intelligent person in regards to politics, history and religion. He can occasionally be frustrated by people acting in a way he would call "stupid".

Jonas is a very skillful stand user, using his stand in many creative ways. Jonas consistently pushes himself above his own capabilities in regards to stand usage, being an powerful threat in just how many ways he can use his fishing lines.
