When Dio refuses to yield, Jonathan shoots a bullet into the right side of Dio’s forehead and clean through the rest of his head. However, this does not kill him, or even slow him down. Dio then gloats that the Stone mask has given him incredible power, which helps Jonathan to realize that the stone mask he had been studying may have caused some transformation within Dio.
Though Speedwagon urges Jonathan to shoot the monstrous Dio, he is ultimately unable to pull the trigger. As the vampire closes in, Speedwagon himself shoots a bullet through the right side of Dio's head, however, this does not kill him, or even slow him down. Immortal Monster (Youth with Dio - Part 2 in the JoJonium release) is the thirteenth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the thirteenth chapter of Part I: Phantom Blood.
