The man is the chieftain of an {{UN|[[Aztec Tribe}}|Aztec tribe]] that flourished in Mexico centuries ago. He is the second character introduced in the 12thentire series, and serves as a prefigure to 16ththe centuriespower of the [[Stone Mask]].
 
He is one of the first characters ever introduced in the entire series and the prefigure to the power of the [[Stone Mask]]. Although his opening scene is omitted from the [[JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation(Season)|anime adaptation]], he appears onas part of a mural in the ending themesequence, [[Roundabout]].

The chief appears aswas a man of muscular build with long shoulder-length hair. He is only shown wearing athe Stone Mask, covering his face. He is shirtless with a leopard -pelt cape, leopard peltand wristbands, a necklace with fangs, and a loincloth.
