In the present, [[Josuke Higashikata (JoJolion)|Josuke]] is about to shoot a [[Soft & Wet|bubble]] at [[Wonder of U]]. He hears [[Rai Mamezuku]]'s explanations about his bubbles. Mamezuku explains that the bubbles are currently a fusion of Soft & Wet's soap bubbles and [[Killer Queen (JoJolion)|Killer Queen]]'s explosive ability. The bubbles are in fact spinning lines that are so thin that they are infinitely close to zero. In other terms, they practically don't exist and cannot be seen, yet the '''explosive spin''' that they produce is there. Although Josuke can't control them, Mamezuku states that these bubbles that come out of Josuke's [[JoestarStar Birthmark|birthmark]] can cross anything and can transcend the logic of calamities.

Josuke shoots his bubble, but then Wonder of U blocks the attack with his cane, deflecting the bubble away. He suddenly calls "[[ObladiOb-La-Di, ObladaOb-La-Da]]" and then enters the elevator. Although his attack failed, Josuke has at least felt the bubble coming out of his shoulder. Josuke prepares a second attack, but Wonder of U then reveals that the "ObladiOb-La-Di, ObladaOb-La-Da" he referred to is another [[Rock Organism|Rock Insect]] that he's currently using as part of his counterattack. Josuke thus notices a strange pad-like creature latched onto the back of his hand, realizing that the creature is what Wonder of U was talking about. As Wonder of U explains a bit of this creature's biology and habits, ObladiOb-La-Di, ObladaOb-La-Da begins to sink into Josuke's hand. Josuke tries to pull it off, but instead, ObladiOb-La-Di, ObladaOb-La-Da begins to generate more of itself from Josuke's blood, covering his arm. As Wonder of U goads Josuke into firing a second shot, Josuke tries to shoot the Rock Insects off him but they multiply again and begin to cover his whole body.

At the [[Higashikata House]], [[Yasuho Hirose|Yasuho]] nervously watches the slide panel falling towards her, while [[TooruToru]] walks away and [[Joshu Higashikata]] promises to protect her somehow. At the hospital, Josuke tells Yasuho to recall [[Paisley Park]] so that she can protect herself from the calamity, but instead, she chooses to hack into the elevator and opens the door so that Josuke can attack again. Standing up, Josuke finds himself at point-blank range and prepares to shoot a bubble right at Wonder of U's face. However, one of the ObladiOb-La-Di, ObladaOb-La-Da detaches itself from Josuke's hand and gets in the way, deflecting the shot away from Wonder of U. Overwhelmed, Josuke collapses on the ground. At the same time, the panel has almost reached Yasuho. However, Paisley Park then transfers itself back to Yasuho via the mobile phone nearby. Suddenly, from Yasuho's phone comes the mysterious bubble, which flies towards TooruToru.
