Berserk Trading Card Game

Berserk TCG is a Trading Card Game released by Konami in the periods of 2003-2005, the cards were released as 5 separate volumes with the inclusion of a Secret Cards tier. The cards are tiered as certain qualities, such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Parallel Rare and City. City Cards are colored manga panels highlighting notorious building monuments or locations of Berserk. Parallel Rares offer slightly saturated colors and reflective or different backgrounds for the cards. Another indication of the cards' rarities are the emblems on the top right corner of the cards. Bronze are for common, silver are for uncommon, gold are for rares and red for Parallel Rares. The cards also have buffs like Range, Move (movement), Pow/HP (power & health Points).

Some cards were exclusive to either young animal magazines or Toysrus with certain purchases of Berserk related figures of Guts and Griffith, another rarity of ToysRus cards is that they also came with different colored border edges which were gold variants.

The Art for trading cards would only get some of the art re-released in the form of bonus booklets that came inside Young Animal Issues #10 & #18 2005.

What makes some of the cards unique is because Kentaro Miura drew entirely new art for 31 Cards. Also it should be noted that art Kentaro had drew in the past for manga volume covers, manga volume posters, young animal magazine posters/pin-ups and other ones such as telephone cards, also got reused. Other cards are depicted from manga panels that're assumingly colored in by Konami.
