An alternative to the <ref>
tags, with integrated support for consistent citation formatting similar to the MLA9 standard.

Like <ref name=""> , links the same references together so you only need to define them once.

Like <ref group=""> , sets which group the reference belongs to. Use for notes.

The URL of the content being cited. Include the link in its entirety. Leave blank if unapplicable. | |
The title of the content being cited. If the content has no title or is quoted from a social media post, use a snippet from the text followed by an ellipsis (...) and indicate the platform under the |platform parameter. This parameter cannot be left blank.

The name of the person/user that published what is being cited. If applicable, include their surname first, followed by their first name (e.g. | ). Leave blank if unknown.|
For social media platforms, this is the "@" of whoever posted what is being cited. This will only work if platform is set to applicable platforms. Do not include the @ symbol when filling this parameter. Leave blank if unapplicable.

The (social media) platform of which the cited content was published on. Leave blank if unapplicable. Should always be specified if

The date that the cited content was published or last updated. Format should preferably be YYYY, Month DD. Leave blank if unknown. | |

This is to indicate that the URL used is an archived link. Leave blank if unapplicable. | |
ISBN if the source is a book. |
