Joushuu Higashikata is a character from Part VIII: Jojolion.

Synopsis

Joushuu Higashikata is a childhood friend of Yasuho Hirose. When Yasuho rescues the mysterious naked sailor from under the rubble at the Wall Eyes he immediately becomes jealous and tries to attack the man with a rock. He's quickly taken out by the man, who uses his mysterious ability to "vanish" Joushuu's eyes.

He's later seen at the hospital, having received the same bite marks on his leg that the sailor had, implying that he too had received a Stand ability.

It's discovered that he's part of the rich Higashikata family that stemmed from Norisuke Higashikata from Steel Ball Run's financial gain after the race. He seems not to have much respect for the protagonist, however, and has shown restraint against his father.

• He may be the first JoJo who can be classified as a villain of the arc, if the "shuu" in his name could be pronounced as "jo".
• Ironically, as noted by Yasuho, Joushuu applied for the Sociology department in his college, despite his complete lack of social skills whatsoever.
