Norisuke placed 3rd during the 3rd Stage of the [[Steel Ball Run (race)|Steel Ball Run race]] and apparently finished 2nd overall, according to his descendant in [[Part VIII: Jojolion]], who bears the same name. He used the prize money won in the race to start a successful business importing foreign fruit - a business his descendants continue to maintain.
