Ceci le conduit dans un certain nombre de positions désavantageuses, notamment contre [[Hol Horse]] et son [[Emperor]]<ref name="C142">{{Ch\|Chapter 142}}</ref> ou [[Anubis]].<ref name="C194"/> Polnareff a du mal à voir ses propres défauts et se croit meilleur qu'il n'est en réalité. Par exemple, il a noté une fois l'insouciance de jeter par terre un mégot de cigarette allumé, une cigarette qu'il a jetée lui-même et qui a provoqué un incendie.<ref name="C190">{{Ch\|Chapter 190}}</ref> Pendant son voyage, il n'est pas rare pour Polnareff de se disputer avec ses compagnons ou de se heurter aux diverses personnes qu'il rencontre. Il avait également initialement une mauvaise opinion d'Avdol parce qu'il a fuit DIO au lieu de se battre. De même, Polnareff a attaqué [[Iggy]] lors de leur première rencontre, leurs deux personnalités fières s'opposant violemment.<ref name="C183">{{Ch\|Chapter 183}}</ref> Line 217 ⟶ 219: * [[Iggy]]: Au départ, les deux ne s'entendaient pas parce que Polnareff l'avait réveillé après un vol cahoteux. Polnareff n'aimait pas l'attitude arrogante d'Iggy et le contrariait fréquemment, faisant de Polnareff la cible la plus courante d'Iggy lorsqu'il s'agissait de se faire mordre et de se faire péter dessus. Malgré cela, lors de leur combat contre Cream, Iggy s'est sacrifié pour sauver Polnareff. Polnareff a profondément pleuré son sacrifice, admettant qu'il pensait initialement qu'Iggy n'était qu'un cabot têtu, mais qu'il a commencé à apprécier celà et son dédain des humains parce que cela montrait à quel point il était fier, et c'est sa détermination qui lui a permis de battre Vanilla Ice. Geil]] et quand Joseph a été infecté par [[The Lovers]], Kakyoin et Polnareff ont travaillé ensemble pour le vaincre. Leur amitié a souffert quand [[Mannish Boy]] a attaqué le gang avec [[Death Thirteen]] et que Polnareff n'a pas cru Kakyoin quand il a dit que le bébé était l'ennemi et croyant que Kakyoin devenait fou. Cependant, en apprenant que Kakyoin avait raison, il s'est sincèrement excusé et les deux se sont entendus depuis. Par exemple, lorsque les deux étaient dans un sous-marin en perdition, les deux étaient toujours capables de plaisanter et de se serrer la main virilement. [[Jotaro Kujo]]: Polnareff et Jotaro étaient très proches, leur amitié étant l'une des rares relations pour lesquelles Jotaro a montré des gestes d'amitié ouverts tels que réconforter Polnareff lorsque ce dernier a laissé filer une belle femme au nom de sa mission, et un câlin d'adieu en larmes avec lui. Au moment où ils sont arrivés en Égypte, le tempérament joyeux de Polnareff a réussi à amuser Jotaro. Les deux se respectent en tant que manieurs de Stand, Jotaro considérant Silver Chariot assez dangereux pour qu'il pense qu'il doive aller à fond dans un combat. Polnareff et Jotaro ont tendance à rester ensemble en Egypte et Jotaro s'est mis en danger pour le sauver de [[Anubis]] et [[~~Dio Brando\|~~DIO]]. On ne sait pas si Jotaro a jamais appris le sort de Polnareff après les événements de la partie 5. [[Joseph Joestar]]: Les deux s'entendaient bien avec Polnareff respectant les pouvoirs et l'autorité de Joseph et Joseph respectant les capacités de Polnareff avec Silver Chariot. Bien que Polnareff ait eu le moins d'interaction avec Joseph, il était évident que les deux s'entendaient. Ils pouvaient partager des plaisanteries entre eux pendant les arcs de "Death Thirteen" et "Oingo Boingo Brothers". Polnareff était prêt à aider Joseph lorsqu'il a été attaqué par le Stand Lovers et Joseph a offert à Polnareff une chance de venir vivre avec lui en Amérique car il savait que Polnareff n'avait personne d'autre en France. Bien que Polnareff ait finalement refusé, il était reconnaissant à Joseph de lui avoir offert cette chance et lui dit adieu en larmes. On ne sait pas si Joseph a appris le sort de Polnareff après les événements de la partie 5. [[Malèna]]: Une gentille femme que Polnareff a rencontré quand il a été rajeuni par Alessi. Elle a vu qu'il était blessé et l'a emmené chez elle pour soigner ses blessures et le nettoyer. Malgré son statut d'enfant, il était excité lorsqu'ils se sont lavés ensemble. Quand elle a été transformée en fœtus par Alessi, il a vaincu Alessi pour la ramener à la normale. Lorsqu'elle lui a demandé où était l'enfant qu'elle avait vue, plutôt que de flirter avec elle, il a fait semblant de ne pas le savoir parce qu'il ne voulait pas la mettre en danger. Il est évident que Polnareff a développé des sentiments pour elle.
