In 2018, sana formed the band sajou no hana with composer Sho Watanabe and bassist Tatsuya Kitani. They are signed to {{W|Warner Bros. Home Entertainment}}. The band was named by Tatsuya Kitani, inspired by the way sana stands and her singing style.
