だから「ＪＯＪＯJOJO」という名前などなくなってしまい、発音も「ヨォヨォ」というそうで、この巻の71ページから始まる第５部の主人公は「ＧＩＯＧＩＯGIOGIO」とイタリア語に忠実に表記することにしたのです。ちなみに「ＨH」という発音もないらしく、「飛呂彦」は「イロイコ」と「誰だ？それ」って感じに呼ばれてしまったりもするのです。

|Translation = Apparently, they don't use the letter J in Italy, except in foreign or obsolete words. That means the name "JoJo" doesn't exist, and would be pronounced something like "yoyo". So, for Part 5, which begins on Pagepage 71 of this volume, I stayed faithful to the Italian language and made the main character's name "GioGio."
