Henry Stickmin is a series of point and click Flash games developed by PuffballsUnited.
The games in this series contain numerous references to a plethora of popular media. The Henry Stickmin Collection added many references to the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series.
Summary
Choosing "Diversion" in the Triple Threat route will play a cutscene where Henry and Ellie manage to distract a room full of Toppat Clan members by dancing. During this, three TC members can be seen doing the Torture Dance performed by Narancia Ghirga, Guido Mista and Pannacotta Fugo from Vento Aureo. The name of the members are "Pasta Primavera", "Figaro Mulligatawny", and "Parmezza Lasagne", likely a reference to the fact that most of the characters in Vento Aureo are named after food.
In the endcard of the Cleaned 'em Out route, the Stone Mask can be seen on the wall behind Henry as an item that he steals from the Toppat Clan.
The fail message displayed when attempting to bribe Mr. Macbeth in the Little Nest Egg route reads, "Henry really bribes? No dignity." referencing a quote from the "Duwang" translation of Diamond is Unbreakable, where Josuke Higashikata secretly attempts to dissuade Yukako Yamagishi from falling in love with Koichi Hirose.
In the Special BROvert Ops route, one of the members of the Toppat Clan, Ken Janpon, is a reference to Ken Oyanagi, as both are seen with a hole in their cheek, have white hair like Ken in the anime adaptation, and play rock, paper, scissors. In his bio it is also stated that "People feel weaker after losing to him." referencing Ken's stand Boy II Man.
In the Just Plain Epic route, one of the security guards is named Joseph Jo, a reference to Joseph Joestar. The sound effect "WRY!" from JoJo's Venture can also be heard.
Dan the Man from the Convict Allies route has his bio reference Steely Dan's localized name of "Dan of Steel". His bio states "He wanted to go by "Dan of Steel" but it was taken."
Spirit Mode
Choosing "Spirit Mode" in the Revenged route will play a cutscene in which Henry and the Right Hand Man battle with Stands, called "Spirits" in the subtitles as a nod to the practize of localization used in the English release of the series. Henry's Stand is named Tribute, with it being localized to "Reference". The localized name references the trend of paying tribute to the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series in different media and the interenet meme "Is that a JoJo's reference." Tribute's Stand Cry "Failure! Failure! Failure!" is a possible reference to DIO's Stand Cry "Useless! Useless! Useless!". The Right Hand Man's Stand, Time in a Bottle, is a reference to the Jim Croce song of the same name, and is localized to "Bottled Time" in the subtitles.
During the scene, the dialog changes to Japanese - in which we can here the original, non-localized names - the artstyle changes to imitate the anime adaptation, and the fight itself follows the common JoJo formula based around discovering the opponent's Stand ability. The music playing in the background of the fight is titled "Bizzare Funk". During Right-Hand Man's monologue the track titled "It is I..." can be heard, named in reference to the internet meme from episode 1 of the series, in which Dio Brando says "It is I, Dio!". The part of the song playing in this scene is inspired by "Dark Rebirth" from the soundtrack of Stardust Crusaders.
The cutscene ends as a typical episode of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure would, with the endcard arrow instead reading "Mission Failed". During this, the second part of "It is I..." plays, which parodies the ending track used in the first season.
