The story takes place after the events of Stardust Crusaders, with all the protagonists still alive.
Kakyoin is brought back to the Kujo mansion by Jotaro, who is forced to sign marriage documents, beginning his life in the Kujo household as a housewife. Kakyoin begins to practice cooking with his now stepmother, Holy, in order to become a good wife in the Kujo family. After many failed attempts at cracking an egg, he eventually cracked one safely, which Holy praised him for it.
He makes breakfast for the other crusaders with Hierophant Green as his helper. Before anyone can start eating, their neighbor DIO interrupts them with the intent of eating their breakfast for himself. DIO and Jotaro begin to fight over a piece of the food, with Jotaro demanding DIO let go of it. DIO goats him by saying he couldn't hear and asks if he'll take it by force. They call out their respective Stands of The World and Star Platinum as the others look at their food. DIO activates The World's time stop to eat all the food before resuming time.
DIO begins to become extremely ill due to the reveal that Kakyoin's food is actually terrible, now experiencing similar symptoms to when Jotaro caved in his skull.[2] Kakyoin is disheartened by this as he woke up at 4 in the morning to make the breakfast. Jotaro then begins to start eating his portion of food as Avdol and Polnareff try to stop him from eating, pleading that he shouldn't kill himself and that there's no need to go this far.
He eventually finishes all the food without any symptoms and tells Kakyoin they're going to school now. It's stated Kakyoin is a 2nd-year high school student, and Jotaro is a 3rd-year high school student as they both took 50 days off school, so they ended up staying for another year. Avdol and Polnareff are surprised Jotaro ate the food, and Joseph mentions it must be due to love. The still-ill DIO insults Kakyoin, saying that out of all of the Joestar wives he's seen, Kakyoin has the worst cooking skills. Kakyoin launches an Emerald Splash from Hierophant Green at DIO before beating him up.
The chapter starts by mentioning the idea that there is a job for the wife when it comes to night.
The group is altogether at night. Kakyoin, Joseph, Avdol, and Polnareff are all playing video games before Jotaro interrupts them by stating that he and Kakyoin need to sleep. Jotaro then drags Kakyoin away from the group by his collar.
Joseph starts singing a tune talking about the grandfather's privilege to see what his grandson is doing. Avdol begins to express disagreement with the idea of peeking before Joseph stops him and explains that it is his duty as a grandfather to see his grandson off to happiness. Avdol is convinced by this, stating that since he is the naming parent of Jotaro's Star Platinum, he also has that duty. Avdol and Joseph look towards Polnareff and Iggy for their decision, who agree with the notion. As Polnareff puts it, since they are friends, they have the right to see.
The group sits together in front of the TV, using Joseph's Hermit Purple on the TV to peek at the newlyweds but immediately regret their actions after the vision appears. During the next day, Jotaro walks in on the group as they are nervously eating together. He excuses Joseph for watching him and Kakyoin last night, whom the group starts to deny they did so, with Joseph thinking to himself that he forgot Jotaro could sense him because of their Joestar blood. Jotaro scolds them and beats them up with Star Platinum, while Kakyoin decides he is just going to go back to his own house for now.
The Proof of their Love: Born (愛の結晶 誕生編, Ainokesshō Tanjō-hen) is the third chapter of JoJo's Bizarre Married Life.
Summary
Kakyoin wakes up one morning to discover that he had miraculously "laid" an egg and reveals it to his friends. Polnareff frantically asks Kakyoin if he has laid this egg. Kakyoin answers him by stating that he doesn't know and that it was just there when he woke up. Joseph happily congratulates Kakyoin while exclaiming his excitement to see what his great-grandson will look like and how Holy will also be excited. Kakyoin tries to tell Joseph that this egg might not even be his, but he realizes Joseph isn't listening to him.
Everyone begins to hear noises, with Avdol describing them as sounds coming from far away and coming closer. While Polnareff is holding the egg still, the child suddenly hatches out of the egg with a strong punch to Polnareff's face, knocking him to the ground. The child is shown to bear a star-shaped birthmark on his shoulder. Joseph happily embraces the child as Avdol congratulates Jotaro and Kakyoin. Polnareff points out that even though the child was just born, he already packed a mean punch.
Kakyoin is still confused by the nature of this child being hatched from an egg, but he begins to find it cute as he holds it in his arms. The child then glances at Jotaro, giving him a stern glare. The chapter ends by stating the proof of love between Jotaro and Kakyoin has finally appeared. As well as how people hatching from eggs is scientifically impossible, but due to the title of the series being JoJo's Bizarre Married Life, it was all good, and now the new adventures of the 3rd and 5th generation of JoJo can begin.
Father and Son Showdown (父と子の対決編, Chantoko no Taiketsu-hen) is the fourth chapter of JoJo's Bizarre Married Life.
Summary
At some point, the child born from the egg was given the name "Jota," courtesy of Joseph. Only a week after Jota's birth, he had grown enough to start going to kindergarten. No one was surprised by this revelation due to the already bizarre nature of his birth.
Jota returns from kindergarten back home to the Kujo mansion. Kakyoin is doing laundry with Holy before he welcomes Jota back with a hug and asks if he didn't get into any fights that day. Jota says yes, but his expression otherwise says he did and that he pummeled them halfway to death. Kakyoin reaffirms to himself that Jota really is Jotaro's child. Jota then pulls out a picture he drew in kindergarten to show to Kakyoin, revealing it as a picture of Jotaro with the text "Stubborn" and "Sadistic" written on it. Jotaro enters the room with Kakyoin welcoming him back home. Jota and Jotaro glare at each other while Kakyoin tries to calm Jotaro down by saying that Jota is just a child. An angry Jotaro attempts to use Star Platinum to attack Jota, and Kakyoin restrains him back, referencing the moment when Kakyoin had to hold back an angry Jotaro from attacking Steely Dan.[6]
At that moment, Jota suddenly activates his Stand. The others enter the room with Joseph asking Jota if he wants to play with his grandpa before they all spot Jota's Stand. Avdol waves his hand through the Stand, unable to touch it. Polnareff examines it and comments that the Stand looks like a green Star Platinum, pointing out how its legs are all unraveled. Avdol, Joseph, and Polnareff think that no matter how you look at it, the Stand is just a combination of Hierophant Green and Star Platinum.
Joseph decides they should name Jota's Stand before asking Avdol to give it a good name. He explains that, unfortunately, they used all the tarot card names, with a small note next to his text explaining that even in the original story of Stardust Crusaders, they started naming Stands after things unrelated to the tarot cards. Polnareff comes up with the idea to have Jotaro name the Stand, as it should be the father's job to name it. He further mentions that he made Joseph name the kid because he was too lazy to do it alone. Jotaro and Jota glare at each other before Jotaro walks over to the kitchen to bring out green dish soap, saying the name of the brand, "Charmy Green."
Joseph and Avdol are disappointed by the name, but Polnareff thinks it's pretty good. Jotaro and Jota glare at each other again. Kakyoin thinks that Jota is already bizarre enough for being born from an egg, but now he's also a Stand User. He questions if this child can grow up normally. The chapter closes out by exclaiming that, as people say, the child of a frog will end up being a frog, and by default, a Stand User's child will be a Stand User. The final note ends on how Jota with his now new Stand, Charmy Green, will begin the battle between father and son.
Morioh's Friendships in Danger (杜王町の友情危機一髪編, Moriō-chō no Yūjō Kikiippatsu-hen) is the fifth and final chapter of JoJo's Bizarre Married Life.
Summary
Ten years later, Jota has grown enough to be a sophomore in high school. He is now physically sixteen years old when he is only ten years old in actuality. Additional info about Jota is also stated in his bio. It is revealed that Jota, upon Kakyoin's request, had been visiting Morioh often to deliver packages to Jotaro. He quickly became acquainted with the town due to the frequent visits. He soon found himself befriending Josuke Higashikata, Jotaro's uncle and his granduncle, during these visits.
Jota showcases Charmy Green's matured abilities and attacks to Josuke, showing its "Emerald Star Finger" and ability to unravel its legs to make a barrier. Josuke is intrigued by the Stand's assortment of things it can do. Jota then shows off Charmy Green's ultimate attack, "Urya Urya Rush," resulting from 10 years of combat with his father. Josuke laughs as he observes this while commenting that Jota's Stand is just like Star Platinum. He then compliments Jota, stating that he is living the dream by having Jotaro as a father. Josuke is jealous, explaining that he feels really good whenever he is with Jotaro and asks if Jota understands. Jota answers that he always just feels irritated. Josuke then asks another question, asking what kind of person Jota's mother is. Jota questions what he means by "what kind" but is interrupted by a voice he happily recognizes that calls to him.
It's shown to be Kakyoin, who mentions that Jota had forgotten to bring the package he needed to be delivered to Jotaro, so he brought it himself instead. Jota is irritated that Jotaro is also there. This is due to his feelings of loving his mother but resenting his father, which he has been doing since he was a kid. A small note clarifies that Jotaro didn't greet Jota but did go to see Kakyoin. Josuke then puts together that Kakyoin is Jota's mom, and he loudly questions Jota. Josuke exclaims that this is great, complementing Jotaro with how he is raising a teenage son at his age and even more amazing that his wife is a man. Josuke then states their love really touches him.
In the final note, it is explained that even though Jota and Josuke are close friends, they just can't agree on the subject of Jotaro. This incident is when Jota first understood the fragility of friendships.
