Here at this prison... We respect your freedoms and equalities, under the very notion of our country! We believe that if our rules were too stringent and ignored your basic human rights, then we might fail at our job of rehabilitating you all and you might turn out even more crooked than when you came in!

Charlotte (サヴェジ・ガーデン, Shārotto-chan) is a recurring item introduced in the sixth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stone Ocean. Charlotte is a puppet based on the appearance of an alligator and is used by Loccobarocco as part of lectures to the Green Dolphin Street Prison Convicts.

Appearance

Charlotte is a normal looking hand puppet. As she is based on an alligator, Charlotte has scaly, dark "skin", with brighter sections at her chest, stomach and mouth. Charlotte has large round eyes with elliptical, vertical pupils. She has short "arms" with claws and a scaly tail. Charlotte's unique feature is her large bow, which Loccobarocco mentions it means she is a girl.

Personality

Charlotte is Loccobarocco's loyal assistant, assisting him in explaining the rules of Green Dolphin Street Prison to the new inmates. Charlotte explains that the prison's philosophy is based on personal freedoms and equality and that they believe that such freedoms would allow the inmates to rehabilitate themselves.
Although Charlotte is just a hand puppet, curiously, she seems to have an independent personality from that of Loccobarocco. While Loccobarocco is more coolheaded, Charlotte lashes out at inmates who interrupt Loccobarocco's lectures. She also immediately begins to defend herself, claiming innocence once a certain inmate suggests Charlotte may have a hand in the disappearance of two prisoners.
