Hermit Purple

Hermit Purple (ハーミット・パープル) is the Stand of Joseph Joestar. It is featured in Part III: Stardust Crusaders and, to a lesser extent, in Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable. It is named after the tarot card The Hermit [1] of the Major Arcana.

Appearance/Personality

It manifests as multiple purple thorny vines that spawn from Joseph's right hand.

Powers

Psychic Photo: Apart from combat purposes, this versatile stand can perform remarkable feats. It can produce psychic photographs and live psychic videos on a television, but at the expense of a camera and television being destroy, respectively. While the video will show the person and allows communication as well the photo will revealed thing it nowt enough to know were the person is located at.

Living Map: It can also conjure real-time maps (capable of tracking moving subjects) and (apparently) read minds. Hermit Purple can even make a map out of the dust on an unpaved road.

Spider-Get Away: Joseph demonstrated that he can also use the vines to swing himself around like Spider-Man.

Hamon Transmission: Joseph shown the ability to transmit hamon through Hermit Purple as an extension of his body. Wrapping himself in such Hermit Purple allowed no vampire to touch him.
