Wekapipo is a fictional character featured in Steel Ball Run. He was introduced as an enemy to the protagonists, but later became an ally.
Story
Wekapipo was once a soldier from Italy, his family uses the Steel Balls much like Gyro Zeppeli's but they have a different purpose as well as a different effect on people.
When Wekapipo was younger, his sister married an abusive man that he challenged for his sister's honor, he unfortunately lost but it didn't stop him from assaulting the man later on.
As he grew up, he was hired by Funny Valentine to attack Johnny and Gyro (who's weapons he knew about) along with fellow assailant, Magenta Magenta. However, after losing, he began to side with Johnny and Gyro during the attack to Stephen Steel.
In another dimension, Johnny was shot by Wekapipo in one of the many outlooks of the situation where Johnny is shot (some of the local kids assumed it was either Wekapipo and Diego Brando). However, it turned out to be a result of a dimension hop since Wekapipo thought he was shooting someone else.
After attempting to confront the president, he meets his end after coming in contact with himself from another universe (which in turns nullify their existence)
Weapon of Choice
Wrecking Balls: Wekapipo posees another type of steel ball proved to be effective to blind opponents with mere touch of one of their satellites.
Trivia
- Wekapipo's Wrecking Balls are a reference to Neil Young's song "Wrecking Ball"
- The shockwaves from Wekapipo's Wrecking Balls causes his victims to completely lose sense of their entire left side. Notably, in a similar manner to stand users obtaining their stands, Wekapipo had a younger sister who had become blind on her left side.
