Tenor Sax is a Stand featured in Part III: Stardust Crusaders.

Ability

Illusions: It had the ability to generate illusions -- Specifically, it created an illusory room for Terence T. D'Arby to challenge Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar and Noriaki Kakyoin in; a labyrinth to confuse Mohammed Abdul, Jean Pierre Polnareff and Iggy with; and generally other illusions to mask the interior of Dio Brando's mansion. However, it was apparently unable to mask scent, so Iggy was easily able to locate Kenny G and strike him down with The Fool to dispel the illusions.

Trivia

• This Stand has never been illustrated, only its illusions; it is possible that Tenor Sax is bound to the air nearby, allowing Kenny G to generate the desired images, making Tenor Sax itself the illusions. On the other hand, its A-rank in Durability hints that Tenor Sax may be an ability stand, and hence does not have an appearance of its own.
• A tenor saxophone is one of the most popular types of saxophone; it is lower in pitch than the alto sax but higher in pitch than the baritone sax.
• Tenor Sax is the first Stand whose name is shown to be a musical reference. It is likely the only stand thus far that has been named after a musical instrument.
