Chapter 160
The Terrifying Lovers (Lovers (1) in the JoJonium release) is the one-hundred-sixtieth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the forty-seventh chapter of Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
The Joestar Group finds out the whole town in which they spent the night was made of illusions by Justice, and every resident a corpse. The group decides to bring Enya Gail with them until they can find a TV and use Hermit Purple to read her mind. This way, they will have the advantage by stealing information about DIO and his remaining mercenaries from her. Hol Horse recommends that they just kill her instead as he drives off in their jeep.
The group arrives at Karachi, in Pakistan, so Joseph Joestar decides to eat something. He bargains with a local merchant and convinces him to lower his price for Shish Kebab, unaware that the merchant tricked him into paying more than the item's actual price.
The unconscious Enya wakes up and is shocked to see the merchant, asking if DIO sent him to kill her. He tells her that DIO trusts no one, not even her, so it is his job to kill all of them. It is revealed Enya also had a bud spore on her, which grows tentacles and start to rip her face off as the merchant reveals himself as Steely Dan. Jean Pierre Polnareff asks what is wrong with Steely Dan to kill someone on his own side.
