Summary

Noriaki Kakyoin and Jean Pierre Polnareff presumably find J. Gail, but Kakyoin notes that this man has a right and left hand. Polnareff is hit by a knife thrown by the real J. Gail, who reveals that the man was just a beggar he gave a injury equal to his own to trick the heroes. J. Gail calls the people around by claiming that Polnareff and Kakyoin want to give money to everyone. With so many people, Hanged Man's path becomes umpredicable for them to hit the stand. Kakyoin throws a coin into the air, making everyone look at it and leaving only one reflective surface to Hanged Man to go. Polnareff kicks sand into the eye Hanged Man is, what forces the stand to move to the coin, and slashes its path. Polnareff finally kills J. Gail, whose body is thrown upside down and hanged into a fence. Kakyoin notes that this is aa fitting end for J. Gail, getting hanged just like the Tarot Card he represents: The Hanged Man.
