Chapter 120
DIO's Curse (Noriaki Kakyoin (3) in the JoJonium release) is the one-hundred-twentieth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the seventh chapter of Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
Jotaro brings Kakyoin to his grandfather and Avdol in order to ask him about DIO. Joseph says that the boy is doomed to die in a few days because of a flesh bud fixed to his brain. He explains that the flesh bud is made out of DIO's cells and is used to control his victim's spirit with charisma.
Avdol tells Jotaro how he first met DIO. He barely avoided the same fate as Kakyoin. He could escape only because Joseph had already told him about DIO. Jotaro refuses to let Kakyoin die and begins to remove the flesh bud with his Stand.
The flesh bud reacts and digs a tentacle into Jotaro's hand in order to get to his brain. Jotaro manages to remove it in the nick of time and Joseph destroys it with his Ripple. When Kakyoin asks him why he risked his life for him, Jotaro says that he doesn't know it himself.
