[[Leone Abbacchio|Abbacchio]] and his [[Stand]] are half stuck in the mirror world, making them incapable of moving. Abbacchio tries to grab the key; if he fails this mission he will feel truly humiliated. [[Illuso]] kicks him and prepares to stab him with a glass shard. Having used ''[[Man in the Mirror]]'' so much has caused him to become extremely weakened. However Illuso notices the key is missing. He inquires Abbacchio as to what he did with it, but Abbacchio says nothing. At that moment Illuso notices the timer on ''[[Moody Blues]]'' face ticking down. Abbacchio had cut off his Stand's hand, and carrying the key it used its replay abilities so the hand would fly back towards [[Giorno Giovanna|Giorno]]. Illuso runs toward Giorno, while Abbacchio laughs knowing that if Giorno gets the key and flees to [[Bruno Buccellati|Buccellati]], then they would have completed their mission and Abbacchio and [[Fugo Pannacotta Fugo|Fugo's]]'s deaths would not be in vain. However Illuso gets ecstatic when he sees Giorno kneeling down, starring at the key. Abbacchio yells at him to run away, but Giorno can't hear him while he is in the mirror world. Illuso brings Giorno in, however this was all part of his plan. As Giorno is brought in, ''Man in the Mirror'' gets infected with ''[[Purple Haze|Purple Haze's]]'s'' virus. Now both Illuso and Giorno are sitting at death's doorstep.
