Kosaku hesitates to open the safe, then decides to go back to the proprietor and tries to talk to him. Furious, he evicts the Kawajiri family, but [[Killer Queen]] suddenly appears behind him. It blasts the proprietor's briefcase's lock and steals 500,000 yen out of it, which Kosaku gives back while pretending to be paying for the last two months and also the following two. The proprietor goes away feeling satisfied, and Shinobu has witnessed the theft, unaware of how her husband stole the money. The boldness of the act causes Shinobu to begin developing romantic feelings for Kosaku Kawajiri, who is in reality [[Yoshikage Kira]].
