<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Inside the arena, [[Tarkus]] gloats to [[Jonathan Joestar|Jonathan]] about all the poor souls he sent to their deaths in the room. whileMeanwhile, [[Will Anthonio Zeppeli|Zeppeli]] is constantly trying to break open the door, Jonathanbut wenthe through.and Zeppeli[[Robert unfortunatelyE. does little to break the door down and it takesO. Speedwagon intervening to get Zeppeli back to his senses and|Speedwagon]] realize that his [[Ripple]] powers cannot break down this door and, likewise, they cannot break Jonathan’sJonathan's chain.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Back insideInside the arena, Tarkus taunts Jonathan by showing him that the only way to get free of the neck brace is to take the key to yourit opponent’sfrom neckhis braceopponent's fromidentical itneck brace. Tarkus also explains that the door locks when a fight begins, and that the only way to get the key from the neck brace is to decapitate the opponent. ThenWhen Tarkus charges at Jonathan, andhe atsimultaneously thepulls same timeon the massive chain, holdingconnecting Jonathan’sthe necktwo. braceThis holstersaction itpulls upJonathan tointo the ceilingair alongand withholds Jonathanhim to the ceiling. Jonathan tries to send a [[Ripple]] through the chain attowards Tarkus, but it doesproves not workineffective, becauseas the chain is on the ceiling and it does not connect to Tarkus’sTarkus's chain. Tarkus then begins to attack Jonathan, who is helpless becausedue to the brace on his neck is slowly choking him, sorendering he cannot usehis Ripple energyuseless.▼

Zeppeli objects to this plan, however, as he thinksbelieves Poco will get himselfbe killed for sure, if he goes in the arena with Tarkuswere to pullenter the leverarena. Zeppeli then says that they shouldcould takeutilize the wayhole Tarkus tookmade in the tower to getreach inJonathan, theonly roomto buthave Speedwagon saysargue that thatsuch waya willroute would take too long.▼

AfterWhen shethe didtwo thoughof shethem were alone afterwards, Poco's [[Poco's Sister|sister]] asked him, why he never fought back against the bullies by himself?. Poco saysresponded that he willwould do it tomorrow, but into responsewhich his sister asks him when is "tomorrow?" is. Poco does not have ana proper answer forto thisthe soquestion hisand, sisterconsequently, slapsis himslapped forby ithis sayingsister. She says to him that she thinks he is afraid of pain and not being able to do anything.▼

Coming out on the other side, Jonathan tells Poco to look out as Tarkus charges at Poco and kicks him across the room!. Luckily, Poco lands near the lever that opens the steel door. so heHe crawls over to the lever and lays his body on it to activate the leverit and open the door for Zeppeli and Speedwagon. ▼
