==Summary==
[[Josuke Higashikata (JoJolion)|Josuke]] holds [[Daiya Higashikata|Daiya]], whose left thigh bone is still exposed due to a massive wound. As Josuke frantically calls out for help and searches for a phone, he is reminded of the mysterious square mark he has seen before on the handrail leading to the second floor of [[Norisuke Higashikata IV|Norisuke]]'s house, and on the wrist of [[Yoshikage Kira (JoJolion)|Yoshikage Kira]]'s corpse. Suddenly, he notices that Daiya's wound is gone. His memory of the strange mark is then extracted from him in the form of a chess piece.
Daiya explains that when she was 2–3 years old, she fell into the faults at the border of the [[Higashikata House|Higashikata house]]. Her vision worsened, but she gained her [[Stand]], [[California King Bed]]. For the sake of fairness, she explains the rules of her Stand. With it, she can take one memory from a person when they break a fair rule. Every time she realizes Josuke has been lying to her, a memory of his is extracted. However, if
Meanwhile, [[Yasuho Hirose|Yasuho]] returns home, and witnesses her mother [[Suzuyo Hirose]], sleeping on the floor after a night of drinking with a hickey on her chest. Yasuho cries over how stupid her mom is and laments her household, stating that she doesn't know her identity either. She is distracted from a letter she received, announcing the results of the DNA comparison between Kira and Josuke, and is confused when the test reveals that they are the same person with a 95.8% accuracy. Looking at a picture of Kira's corpse on her cellphone, Yasuho notices the strange mark on his wrist and also remembers seeing it at [[Joshu Higashikata|Joshu]]'s house, so she decides to return there.
Daiya asks Josuke to accompany her to her bedroom as she wanted to change her clothes in order to go shopping. While she is in her closet, Josuke uses the opportunity to have [[Soft & Wet]] plunder the sound from the closet's light switch when he flips it off. Thus, the light of the bedroom would create a shadow of Josuke in the closet that Daiya would step on. However, she hears Josuke make an unnatural movement and easily deduces his plot, making him realize that [[Daiya]] cannot be underestimated.
