Summary
Zeppeli tells Jonathan that the only way to beat a vampire—or a zombie, in this case—is to destroy the brain completely. Jack the Ripper, still alive, jumpsgrabs toonto athe sword embedded in the tunnelstunnel's ceiling. which heHe pulls it down, revealing a secret passage that he then runs into. Speedwagon is input fearoff by the prospect of followingentering Jackthe passage, but Zeppeli saysinsists that they havemust to go however; he states that Jonathanfollow will go aloneJack. Zeppeli then tosses Jonathanhis hisfull wine glass stillto fullJonathan, whichand hesays catchesthat withoutonly spillingJonathan awill dropbe going after him. Zeppeli then tells Jonathan of an old saying theythat hadoriginated in Norway.: “The Northern Wind Made the Vikings”

Zeppeli then tells Jonathan that he must defeat Jack the Ripper in the secret tunnel without spilling a drop of the wine, or else Zeppeli will abandon Jonathan on his quest, regardless ifof whether he defeats Jack or not. Speedwagon objects to thisthe ridiculous challenge, but Jonathan, understandingfollowing Zeppeli'sthe useold of theNorwegian sayingphrase, enters the cavesecret passage.
“The Northern Wind created the Valorous Vikings”

Zeppeli then tells Speedwagon the story of a Caribbean fisherman he had once met. One day while he was out at sea, his boat was attacked by a giant shark that had plagued the waters for some time. His boat was destroyed and his foot caught in the wreckage. In a bold move, he severed his own leg with his fishing spear and used the wound to bait the creature, allowing him to kill the shark. As a result, the fisherman became the hero of his village. Speedwagon asks Zeppeli if Jonathan will be able to finish his challenge, the latter replying that should Jonathan fail, he would not be able to defeat Dio.
Zeppeli then tells Jonathan that he must defeat Jack the Ripper in the secret tunnel without spilling a drop of the wine or else Zeppeli will abandon Jonathan on his quest regardless if he defeats Jack or not. Speedwagon objects to this ridiculous challenge but Jonathan, understanding Zeppeli's use of the saying, enters the cave.

Jonathan searches the maze-like passage with a torch. Unfortunately, because of the structure of the passage, some places are too dark to see, torch or not. Nearly too late, Jonathan realizes that the torch makes him an easy target, and the zombie ambushes him with a torture device shaped like a giant rib-cage. Jonathan barely manages to escape the trap, receiving several cuts along his arm and nearly spilling the wine. Jack the Ripper vanishes into the darkness. Jonathan extinguishes the torch in an attempt to avoid giving away his position again, but quickly realizes that, without the light, he cannot tell where Jack is hiding either. Though he attempts to conceal his presence, Jack is already aware of Jonathan's position due to the smell of blood coming from his cuts.
Zeppeli then starts to tell Speedwagon a story of a brave angler he met once who fished in waters with sharks over ten meters tall. One day though sharks attacked his boat and he fell into the sea. In a bold move however, he severed his own leg with his fishing spear. This then attracted a shark to his location but! It turned out that this bold move was actually a clever trap for the shark going to eat the angler’s severed leg for then the shark became one of the angler's greatest catches. Speedwagon understanding Zeppeli then inquires if Jonathan will be able to finish his challenge to which Zeppeli replies that if Jonathan fails he will not be able to defeat Dio.

As Jonathan is about to round the corner howeverwhen he suddenly notices a ripple in the wine he's holding. Jonathan then realizes that this is the reason why Zeppeli gave him the wine glass. The wine hasacts a rippleRipple inside of itdetector that showscan wherebe Jackused is,to whichsense meantlife thataround thehim wineand glasspinpoint detectedthe lifezombie's around it!location. Jonathan thinking quickly uses the Sendo Ripple Overdrive technique to attack Jack through the wall. atThe Jack,Ripple which then makes contactconnects with his face burning offJack the leftRipper's half of his face entirely thushead, killing him.
Meanwhile inside the secret passage Jonathan is searching the maze-like dark corners of the secret passage with a torch but unfortunately, because of the construction of the passage it is still has dark corners and spots even with a torch in hand. Suddenly though Jack the Ripper comes from nowhere with a strange instrument of torture shaped like a horses ribcage. He tries to entrap Jonathan in it but he misses and Jack is only able to break a pillar with it, cutting it into other circles of rock after which he vanishes into the darkness. However, Jack's weapon has cut Jonathan in several places along his back and arm and he almost spills the wine because of this. From this narrow miss Jonathan deduces that Jack is targeting his torch so he extinguishes it to try to get him by a surprise attack but then Jonathan realizes that without the light Jonathan cannot tell where Jack is hiding. However, this proves futile because in hiding right around a corner Jack can smell Jonathan's blood from the cuts he made trying to kill Jonathan earlier and Jonathan is going to round the corner where Jack is!

Back at the entrance to the passage, Zeppeli and Speedwagon hear the cry of the dying zombie. Zeppeli remarks that Jonathan must have figured out what the wine was for and that the "North Wind" appeared to have made a "Viking" out of him after all.

As Jonathan is about to round the corner however he suddenly notices a ripple in the wine. Jonathan then realizes the reason why Zeppeli gave him the wine glass. The wine has a ripple inside of it that shows where Jack is, which meant that the wine glass detected life around it! Jonathan thinking quickly uses the Sendo Ripple Overdrive technique through the wall at Jack, which then makes contact with his face burning off the left half of his face entirely thus killing him.
