Ils se voient comme de bons alliés. Leur amitié est si grande qu'ils risqueraient leur vie pour sauver l'autre et Johnny s'était résigné à abandonner certaines parties du [[Corps Saint]] pour sauver Jayro. Pour sa part, Jayro enseigne l'art de la {{Fr\|Spin\|Rotation}} à Johnny, en utilisant parfois les combat comme des leçons. Lorsque Jayro mourut, Johnny était dévasté et Valentine a essayé d'exploiter leur amitié en promettant de ramener Jayro dans leur monde. L'esprit de Jayro dit au revoir à Johnny après sa mort, et Johnny fait l'effort de retourner le corps de Jayro à sa famille.
