  • National Match Pair:
    • Increased movement speed of downed characters by 24%.
    • Added instructions for "help" when an ally goes down.
  • In-store Match:
    • Removed the "Match Settings (change the strength and number of D'Arby assassins)" function, which was used infrequently.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the room selection screen for pair matches where the image of the soul chip was displayed by default.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some UI elements to be corrupted when the number of tickets held was 1,000 or more.

System Changes

  • Implemented auto-dash function:
    • Added an auto-dash function that automatically dashes when the left stick is tilted beyond a certain level.
    • Auto Dash function will be set to "Enabled" for all players by default, it can be disabeled by navigating to Customize > Controls > Auto Dash set to "Disabled" on the linked website to return to the old method of dashing by pressing in the L stick.
  • Change in the rating evaluation method:
    • Starting with Season 5, the method of calculating ratings will be changed as follows:
      • (Old Method): Evaluated by the difference in rate and rank with other players.
      • (New Method): Evaluated by rank and number of knockdowns vs. player, regardless of the difference with other players' rating.
  • Other changes:
    • The name, strength, and level of the player who defeated you will now be displayed on the screen when you are retired.
    • Changed the waiting time to 180 seconds when "RANDOM" is selected for a national pairing.
    • New promotional movie added to title demo screen.
