JJL Chapter 8
Summary
After Yasuho's excavation, he finds himself in the midst of Daiya's stand (which causes memory loss) before feigning being seduced by Daiya (who tries to have sex with him despite their age difference) and getting her to step on his shadow in order to get most of his memories back.
Yasuho returns to her house, where she discovers her mother sleeping on the floor, apparently drunk, with the mark of a kiss on her neck. Disappointed, Yasuho tearfully thinks that she too does not know who she is.
Before leaving again, Yasuho picks up a letter returned to her from the police and/or an "investigation company", titled "DNA Investigation Result Report"; which states that Yoshikage Kira and Josuke Higashikata, "to 95.8% accuracy", are "the same person". Dissatisfied, Yasuho reveals that she paid 80,000 Yen out of pocket for the test.
Immediately, Yasuho notices the mysterious mark found earlier on the banister leading to Norisuke's study on the wrist of Yoshikage Kira's corpse in a picture on her phone; which she says she noticed before playing at their estate growing up.
