Trivia
- Blackmore's Stand and name come from the guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, formerly from Deep Purple and Rainbow (which he formed after leaving Deep Purple in 1975), and one of the latter band's most popular songs, Catch the Rainbow.
- When ever Blackmore says sorry he splits into 'so-rry', a translation of his original Japanese vocal tic. In Japanese, Blackmore always says "sumimasen" (I'm sorry or excuse me) as "suImasEEn," changing "sumi" into the dipthong "sui", putting extra emphasis on the I and E sounds, and drawling out the E to varying lengths. It has a vaguely petulant and childish sound.
