Midair Drawing of Heavens Door

Heaven's Door (ヘブンズ・ドアー) – also known as Heaven's Gate – is a stand appearing in Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable and other side stories (such as Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe - Mutsukabeza) in which its user Rohan Kishibe is featured in.

Its name was taken from the song Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan.

Abilities

Heaven's Door is activated when one sees his stand or a drawn image of his stand and can work on multiple opponents at a time. With his artistic skills and quick hands he can even create an image in midair with a mere pen, or can invoke his stand's image by drawing it out with his finger.

It enables Rohan to read others' minds by turning their body into a human book detailing their memories since birth. The contents shown by Heaven's Door are all the thoughts, ideas, and memories of the individual, so there is no way for the user to lie unless he or she truly does not know. Rohan is also incapable of reading memories in which he is directly involved.

The "pages" of the book can also be ripped out, causing them to lose those memories and body weight. Furthermore, Rohan can also write in false memories and commands into the victim's pages, the most often used command being "can not attack Kishibe Rohan". Said victim will obey the command as though it were a hypnotic suggestion.

Heaven's Door also seems to grant the ability to write at superhuman speeds by enabling Rohan to "draw" images by accurately positioning each drop of ink in an exact position to form an image. Due to this, Rohan was the only mangaka able to make his deadlines even when Stairway to Heaven (Made in Heaven) was accelerating time.

Trivia

  • Heaven's Door seems to appear as a character in Rohan's "Pink Dark Boy" comic series; it shares the exact same appearance as the (possibly main) character when Rohan once is seen working at his desk.
