In every tankōbon or volume of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the front folded flap of the dust jacket usually contains a picture of Hirohiko Araki himself, and more than often a note to the reader.
The only exception to this are the English volumes due to the lack of dust jacket; however, VIZ Media takes the liberty of placing the content inside the first page of the volume itself.
The quotes featured below Araki's picture are always different from each other, and usually involve Araki expressing his opinion on various subjects, which may include information about characters or the story itself.
