Death Thirteen
Death 13 is the stand of Mannish Boy, an antagonist featured in Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Appearance/Personality
Death 13 appears as the Grim Reaper holding a scythe. However, in place of a skull, it has a clown face with downwards curved eyes and an eerie smile. Its mouth never moves as it talks, though it can move its mouth and face independently. Outside of its head and arms, Death 13 has no physical body, meaning any attacks aimed at its clothing simply passes through it. Death 13 is also an extremely unique stand, because it is controlled by an 11 month-old user. Its relationship with its user appears almost backwards, with Death 13 acting more like the user and the Mannish Boy as the Stand.
Its personality is very fitting for a mix between a clown and the Grim Reaper: it speaks easily, swearing and mocking, while still acting childish, though disturbing, such as it filling Noriaki Kakyoin's mouth with eyeballs. It is also rather sadistic in killing its targets, placing it's scythe in Jean Pierre Polnareff's mouth to kill him instead of simply slicing him in half, and being prone to fits of maniacal laughter, written as a childish "Hehehe", and boasting, though its over-confidence makes it extremely foolish, not realizing Kakyoin's plan until after it had been completed. Death 13 is possibly one of the most sadistic and disturbing creatures in the entire series, showing no remorse for human life despite its sentience, and enjoying torturing its victims instead of killing them outright, despite being only a stand.
Ability
Master of Dreams: This ability actually comes in two parts. The first is when anything alive (human or otherwise) falls asleep near the Mannish Boy, Death 13's User. They are then drawn into Death 13's dream world, which appears as a massive carnival, complete with Ferris wheels and roller coasters. Death 13 has full control in his dream world, sans the people who dream themselves into it. He is able to make death machines out of mechanical items, make objects out of nothing, or even trick a person into thinking they have summoned their stand, though this is actually Death 13, as nothing besides those who are asleep can enter Death 13's world.
If the victim dies in the dream world, he stays dead even in the real world, and any injuries the person receives are transferred to the real world as well. The corpse of anyone he kills stays where it was killed in the dream, becoming a part of it, and thus under Death 13's control. If, by some miracle, the person manages to survive Death 13's assault, they forget what happened when they wake up, and only remember once they return to Death 13's world, making attacking his relatively weak user very hard to do.
