Chapter 84
Summary
At 5:00 pm, Messina wakes up Joseph to tell him that they have caught to the mail train. Upon hearing, this Joseph starts to get out of the car to break into the train but then another car goes up behind Lisa Lisa’s and the driver honk the car horn at them. Joseph looks back at the car wondering why it is not just passing them since there is plenty of room to on the road but then he notices that Nazis are driving the car. The general of the Nazi’s then comments on Joseph’s good physique and then the car just passes him.
Suddenly Messina notices that several Nazis are already at and searching the train, when suddenly one Nazi comes out of the train with Lisa Lisa’s package containing the Red Stone of Aja! The one Nazi then gives it to the general who explains that he knows about Joseph’s actions of the past 3 weeks up to now and he wants an alliance with him. This confuses Joseph and the rest of the Ripple users but Lisa Lisa then reasons that as detrimental to their goals as it is, they all have to agree that the Nazis having the stone is better than the pillar men having the stone. Unfortunately, the mysterious general then tells them that he plans to use it to further the Nazis goals….
Five hours later Kars arrives at the location of the train and the Nazis. His first action being to feel the outer wall of the building the Nazis are in and using the temperature difference of the inside from the outside he pinpoint the location of every light source, and human in the room along with the genders of the humans. Using this information, he brings his arm blades out and skillfully cuts through the wall in such a way that he quickly but efficiently kills each of the five people several of them being against the wall making it easier for him to accomplish this. However when Kars enters into the room by using the window he sees that he missed one person in the room which he did not sense from outside, the person being the mysterious general. The general then takes time to complement Kars on his speed and intelligence, to which Kars does not acknowledge because he still ponders why he could not sense the general’s body heat.
Kars then charges the general with his arm blades right at the time Joseph come into the room to ask the general where is the food. Then as Kars strikes, the generals hand the generals skin comes off revealing a mechanized hand underneath to Kars’s shock! Kars then cuts the generals hat and retreats back revealing that the mysterious general is in fact Rudolf von Stroheim to Josephs shock!
