Chapter 262
Joseph's Will (DIO's World (16) in the JoJonium release) is the two hundred sixty-second chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the one hundred forty-ninth chapter of Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
Dio relishes in his newfound power, inadvertently regaining the more psychotic mentality he possessed in part l: Phantom Blood.
To Jotaro's horror, the newly empowered DIO exclaims that the blood of Joseph Joestar has mended the wound on his neck and completed the fusion to Jonathan's body. This not only restores Dio's vampire powers in full but is further demonstrated during the ensuing exchange of strikes in which Dio manages to use time stop for 9 seconds consecutively. This leaves Jotaro in a bad situation when DIO using his time stop to disappear, only to return with a large Roadroller in an attempt to drop it on Jotaro and crush him to death.
Jotaro uses what little experience he's accumulated in time stop to move for a brief moment and urge his Stand to strike the Roadroller away but DIO does not relent when he uses The World to force it down, seemingly crushing Jotaro beneath and crowning DIO the ultimate victor.
