In part of the 25th Anniversary celebration, JUMP j BOOKS announced the VS JOJO Special Project. This project consisted of multiple well-known authors writting their own stories relating to the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Because of this, these Light Novels were not written by Hirohiko Araki and may or may not be considered canon. However, the cover art, illustrations and stand pages found throughout them were specifically designed for each book by Araki himself.
