Tomoko Higashikata (東方 朋子) is a minor character from Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable. She is the mother of Josuke, and the daughter of Ryohei.
An attractive single mother practicing a teaching profession, she is known to have a strong temperament. Little is known about her relationship with Joseph Joestar other than that they had an affair while she was in college with the 62 year old man, which produced an illegitimate child, Josuke, of which Joseph had no knowledge of until the boy was 16. She remains deeply in love with Joseph despite the man already being married; according to Josuke she gets emotional at the memory of him.
She is fond of a particular sponge cake from Kamakura.
