Smokey Brown is a minor character appearing in Part II: Battle Tendency. He is portrayed as an ally of the protagonist, supporting and most often commenting on Joseph's actions.

Plot

Much in the same way that Dario Brando was bailed out of jail by George Joestar I, Smokey is bailed out by Joseph soon after stealing his wallet.

At the end of the story, it is stated that Smokey saved money for college, in which he studied politics, and became the first African American mayor of his hometown.
