Chapter 113
Summary
Kars is sent out to space by the eruption of the volcano started by the Red Stone of Aja. He decides to blow air to go back to earth, but the void of space freezes Kars from the inside out causing him being unable to move. With being the Ultimate life-form he could not die no matter how much he wished for it. He eventually mentally committed suicide by stop thinking. Back on Earth two weeks later, Joseph's family, Smokey, & Speedwagon are attending Joseph's funeral as he is declared dead from the battle with Kars. However Joseph shows up to his own funeral, alive & well with a prosthetic hand made by Stroheim. Joseph reveals that he married Suzie Q during his absence. Suzie Q was supposed to give a telegram to everyone that Joseph lived but she forgot. Joseph threatens her with his mechanical hand as she runs away. After that, Lisa Lisa revealed to Joseph that she is his mother & remarries. Erina continues to teach until she dies peacefully at age 81. Although Speedwagon made monumental progress as a oil king, he died single two years after Erina's death. Smokey worked to pay for college where he studied politics. He became the first black mayor in his hometown in Georgia. Stroheim never saw Joseph or the others again, as he died at the battle of Stalingrad as a proud German soldier. Many years have passed & Joseph has grown old, with a dislike of Japanese people. He, however has not lost his overall attitude, as he walks over to his flight, walk-man at hand, to see his daughter, Holy & his grandson, Jotaro.
